It is Mac-only because it relies on a system audio driver. LitLink also has a free tier, and Pro can be purchased on its own.
Why is LitPads Studio a direct download instead of on the Mac App Store?
LitPads Studio includes LitLink Pro, which relies on a system audio driver. Apple does not allow audio drivers in Mac App Store apps, so Studio ships as a direct download from litpads.app. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs cleanly and safely.
