Online Soundboard: Frequently Asked Questions
Is this online soundboard free?
Yes. Every sound on this page plays for free in your browser, with no sign-up and no ads. Tap a pad to play it, or use the keyboard on a computer.
Does it work on PC, Android, and Chromebook?
Yes. The online soundboard runs in any modern browser, on Windows, Android, ChromeOS, Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The LitPads app itself is made for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Is the LitPads app available for Windows or Android?
No. The LitPads app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac only, and there is no Windows or Android version. This online soundboard is different: it works for everyone, in any browser on any device, with no app needed.
Can I play these sounds in Discord?
Not from the browser: a website plays through your speakers, not into Discord's microphone input. On a Mac, the LitPads app together with the free LitLink audio driver sends your sounds straight into Discord, so everyone in the call hears them.
Can I add my own sounds?
In the LitPads app, yes. You can import your own audio files or record with the microphone, free on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with 6 boards of 20 pads each.
Can I download these sounds?
No. These are original sounds made for LitPads, offered to play here. The Sound Library sounds also play inside the LitPads app, including in your streams, videos, and shows. They are not offered as downloads, and the files may not be reused or redistributed (see the Sound Library section of our terms).

Marcel Iseli is an indie developer, DJ, and music producer with over 20 years behind the decks and in the studio. Rooted in hip hop culture, he collects drum machines, samplers, and vintage audio gear. LitPads grew out of that obsession: decades of triggering samples on hardware led him to build the software equivalent he always wanted.
