LitPads is a universal Apple app that runs natively on macOS 14+, iOS 17+, and iPadOS 17+. It is built with Swift and uses AVAudioEngine for low-latency audio playback. It adds unlimited boards and pads, iCloud sync across Mac, iPad, and iPhone, per-pad 3-band parametric EQ with a real-time spectrum analyzer, pitch shifting up to 24 semitones, stereo pan, audio ducking, MIDI controller support with MIDI Learn and velocity sensitivity, global hotkeys on Mac, custom pad images, visual skins, board export and sharing, fade in and out, and auto-chaining. On Mac, Pro also includes the streamer toolkit: OBS scene and source control, a Stream Window for OBS window capture, broadcast timers, lower thirds, Stream Deck integration, and animated video pads.

LitPads Studio is a Mac-only bundle priced at $49.99 one-time. It is LitPads Pro with LitLink Pro included in a single installer. Because it bundles LitLink Pro's system audio driver, which Apple does not allow in Mac App Store apps, Studio is a direct download from litpads.app rather than an App Store app. It is signed and notarized by Apple and includes a 7-day free trial. The streamer toolkit (OBS control, Stream Window, broadcast timers, lower thirds) is already part of LitPads Pro; what Studio adds over Pro is LitLink Pro. Customers who already own LitPads Pro can add LitLink Pro separately instead of buying Studio.

LitLink (Wikidata: Q139251057) is a free virtual audio driver for macOS by the same author. It creates a multi-output device with one toggle and includes microphone passthrough and per-app volume control, eliminating the manual Audio MIDI Setup that BlackHole requires. LitLink Pro adds per-app audio routing, per-app EQ, and recording of system or app audio, so each app's sound can be sent and captured exactly where it is needed (Discord, OBS, Zoom, and more). LitLink Pro is sold on its own and is also bundled into LitPads Studio.

## Comparison

Soundboard Studio is a different, unrelated soundboard for Mac, iPad, and iPhone that lacks per-pad EQ, pitch shifting, MIDI support, and setlist mode. Farrago by Rogue Amoeba is Mac-only with no iOS or iPadOS support.
